快速成型(RP)技术有哪些特点?

快速成型(RP)技术将一个实体的复杂的三维加工离散成一系列层片的加工,大大降低了加工难度,具有如下特点:
Rapid prototyping (RP) technology divides the complex three-dimensional machining of a solid into a series of layers, which greatly reduces the machining difficulty, and has the following characteristics:
(1)成型全过程的快速性,适合现代激烈的产品市场;

以上特点决定了RP技术主要适合于新产品开发,快速单件及小批量零件制造,复杂形状零件的制造,模具与模型设计与制造,也适合于难加工材料的制造,外形设计检查,装配检验和快速反求工程等。
