1、手板模型所花的费用比较少，主要是用来做测试用的，所以数量通常不会太多，而且由于CNC加工、真空复膜、3d打印等技术不断地成熟，制作手板的费用相比以前已经大幅度下降。而直接制作模具的费用一般都是几万或者几十万不等，而医疗器械和机器人类型的模具费多的都在大百万。此外，有些手板小批量来做可以直接充当商品在市场上销售，其手板的美观和精致度不亚于开模做出来的，而所花的费用还不及开模的十分之一。
